Kind lady

$35.15 SGD

The "Kind Lady" shirt was directly inspired (lifted) from hobo code. If you are not aware, it was a code used amongst travellers, hobos, bindlestiffs, etc, in the early 20th century. It was often scrawled on the backs of signs, buildings, houses or under bridges, with helpful and simple symbols to alert a new traveler to the dangers or benefits of a town. "Dry Town," "Mean Judge," "hobos arrested on site here," and "Kind Lady," were the sorts of things you could expect to leearn in the back alleys of small town America. I've long been fascinated with it, and where it actually existed in the first place (the evidence is scant, but my faith is strong), and it's something my wife and I bonded over when we first met. I was blown away to discover she'd not only heard of hobo code, but had a tattoo of some. Eventually I caught up and got the kind lady tattoo from this shirt on my hand. For my kind lady.
